With over 16 years’ experience working as an Enforcement Officer for DVSA (the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency), Gary visited local companies checking for compliance and decided to start his own company. Gary set up GDS Travel with the aim to be a successful business providing an outstanding professional service. Using the skills he gained as a trained heavy vehicle technician he maintains his own vehicles to a high standard. In 2016 he passed both the public service vehicle and heavy goods vehicle exams.

Starting with one vehicle, GDS Travel now have a fleet of double decker buses which provide home to school transport on a daily basis, coaches available for private hire and a 19 seater minibus available for private hire.  In April 2022 GDS Travel took over Towler's Coaches Ltd which was based in Emneth, Wisbech and in total now have a fleet in excess of 25 vehicles which Gary now runs with his wife Michele.

 

GDS Travel (incorporating Towler's Coaches Ltd) has professional and DBS checked drivers all of which hold years' of experience and are trained to provide the highest standard of customer care to all our clients.
